On sale are delicious sandwiches and cakes, together with tea, coffee, and soft drinks. An idea spot to reflect on which of the great pieces of art on display at Art on the Hill 2012 might look good in your living room or hall.

McCormick is another great supporter of Brill PTA and Art on the Hill. The company is an international brand with a local presence, being based in Haddenham, has been generous with its support and donations over the years, from sponsorship of the cafe (as an example), to individual prizes like the fabulous spice hamper being raffled this weekend.

McCormick produces a range of spices and spice mixes, including the Schwartz brand, and is an ever present in many of the domestic and commercial kitchens in the UK.

Steve will be providing a chance to sit down and hear his tips and extracts from his stories at 12.00 noon to 1.00pm on Sunday 20^thMay. More details here.

There will be two raffles, one to be drawn on Friday night and one to be drawn on Sunday.

Tickets will be on sale at Art on the Hill 2012.

Art on the Hill 2012 will feature great interactive workshops covering a number of aspects of art.  Amongst them will be the Watercolour Workshops by

Joy will be providing two workshops over the weekend, one aimed at beginners on the Saturday and an improvers’ workshop on the Sunday.

All art materials will be supplied and tuition will be given to create your own watercolour mounted to take home, and skills to further your painting at home.

The cost will be £45 per course however should you wish to book both courses a £5 discount off the second course will be given. Places are limited so don’t delay.

The Beginners course will take place on Saturday 19^th May at 2.00pm and finish at 4.00pm.  The Improvers course will take place on Sunday 20^th May at 10.00am and finish at 12.00 noon.

Joy will also be exhibiting and her pictures will be available to buy during the weekend.

The first team we’d like to highlight is the team from Vita Events. Run by Mark and Jenny Hill, Vita Events provides the fantastic mobile bar services that have graced just about every PTA event for the past two years.

Not only does the PTA benefit from having such a superb bar service, with stylish and elegant bars and a well trained and professional team, but the team at Vita donates all of the profit taken at the bar at each event to the PTA.

Vita Events provides bar and other event services to individuals and organisations in the local region, and we would highly recommend their services. The team has also launched a sister company Cocktail Nation, and we’d also encourage everybody to sample their superb cocktails.
